Water in bellhousing?
Well this is kind of a long story so I'll try to make it quick. Last night I was putting my new clutch in my car and when I got everything back together, the battery was pretty much dead and I couldn't get my car to start. We tried to push start it but there wasn't a long enough straightaway and I ended up leaving my car just outside the garage. We were really tired and about 5:30 A.M. we fell asleep in the car. When we woke up a few hours later, the carpet was wet and there was water up to the bottom of the doors. It rained a lot and we were in a low area. Anyway, I think the water may have been high enough to get in the bellhousing vents and I'm wondering if this is going to be bad on the clutch if I make sure everything is dry before I use it. Let me know what you think.

Thanks guys. This is my first clutch job and doing stuff for the first time can be a little frustrating. Guess it does make for a funny story though... What are the chances!? Waking up in a flooded car.
