i was wondering what size wastegate i would need for my HKS T04R, it has a .86 AR, not sure if that matters or not, i was thinking a 40mm would suffice, but what do you guys think?, can i get away with a 38mm @ 15psi?, thanks....

 

44mm or larger. I say this from firsthand experience. You're in Alberta so you've got some cold air up there, you need a lot of wastegate flow if you want consistent boost control across a broad range of temperatures.
