Washing AEM intake Cone

Ok so i looked on the AEM site, couldnt find anything. Looked on the forums here, found some stuff on the HKS filter. I also found one thing on the AEM intake, but it only said that they were "expensive as hell" so that didnt help at all.

Anyway, anyone know how i'm supposed to clean this thing, take a look at my pics. Just wondering if there's a special cleaning agent or method or w/e to washing these things. Any help is appreciated.

Thx
Ant

Is it a washable type of filter? I'm quite sure if it was that the instructions would have a recommendation for what to use.

Buy a new one? They're like twenty dollars.

You must wash it with the blood of a baby to get it red again!

Seriously though, AEM filters were originally made by K&N. So using a K&N recharger kit would work perfectly. The new dryflow filters have no oil and cleaning them is much easier than the older/K&N filers.

You should be able to pick up a cleaning kit at a Adavnce Auto or PepBoys as they stock K&N filters.
