warning light cluster on the fritz... HELP
when i start up the car everything works fine but the warning lights either stay on all the time or turn off after say 5 min... i can see this maybe being a lose connection or something, yet it does not react to bumps.. any known problems or ideas?..
thanks

How's your alternator?
Check the charging voltage with a meter, directly on the battery terminals, with the car running (preferably while the warning lights are on)...What voltage you get?

good news... it is the alt, i will be posting this in a new thread but i found a shop in town that will rebiuld my alt with 100 amps for $110 cdn. this is great considering i was thinkin of doin an fd swap when i found out..
apperently 780 watt stereo at 2 ohms is too much fer the ol stock 60 amp alt. a 1 farad cap and the new alt should fix the prob though
thanks again fer the tips..
