Warm running difficulty
I'm looking at a '90 GX to use as an autocross mule and it's got some running issues. If I think I can sort them out, I'll buy it, but if they're going to be alot of time/money I'll probably pass for now.
Basically what happens is that the car will idle and run decently when it's cold. When it warms up, it runs very poorly. The idle is lumpy and inconsistent and there is little to no power when driving the car. Compression is good on both rotors, with three strong pulses on each, and the leading plugs appear to be sparking. The car doesn't flood and will start fairly easily, even when warm, so I don't think that the injectors are leaking.
What kind of issues am I looking at that would cause poor running when at operating temperature?
My experience with RX-7's is limited to 1st gens, so I'm in the dark here. Any help you guys could render would be appreciated.
