WANTED: Lightbar for my FC vert

I would like to find a lightbar (kind of like a rollbar but more wide and flat, usually with a brake light) similar to this one for mustangs.

Kirk racing sells a roll bar for the verts. I am not really impressed with it so I planned on buying it and making my own one off to add 2 hoops and triangle the bar some how because the way it is now I think if you rolled with it only connecting to 2 points and not 3 it would probably be what kills you.

I agree it wouldn't do much in the way of safety. Would look sweet though.

I like pictures, they're pretty.

Isnt that the rollbar from Kirk racing? Its cool but I was looking for something wider from the side view (front to rear) and thinner from the rear view (top to bottom) Something not so tubular with more of a rectangular cross section. I want it more for form than function. No offense but I just dont think the tubes blend well with the rest of the interior. Here are some more examples

Yeah that's more function than form, not a "style bar". Definitly helps stiffen up the chasis & provide roll protection.

yes this is the bar I was talking about. I fully believe that this bar will be what kills you in a roll. First it sits to far forward and you cannot recline your seats any. This will suck for a guy whos over 5'9. Second it doesn't have a triangle point that will stop the bar from bending forward or backwards when you are sliding down the highway on the roof. My design will correct all of the above issues. As for making look like the mustang one above. That would require you to modify the targa port of the top when it closes. You could do it but you would have to remove alot of the plastic covers in the targa. Its all up to how much work you plan on doing yourself.
