want to get into the game
what are important things to look for that may cause troubles later on when buying an rx7? And what is the best 2nd gen to get?

Best 2nd gen is higly subjective. I would have to say S4 Turbo II.

Yah, aaron's website is really good. Mainly electrical problems if the car has good compression/rebuild but other than that its all just minor
