volts
Ok... so recently my car has been dropping volts like crazy.
when i turn my headlights on the volts drop and also when i turn my music up louder it drops.
but when i turn the AC on my volts rise slightly.
but when the car is actualy moving the volts seems to be stable...
any help at all would be much apreceated.. im jsut tired of my car sounding like its about to dye and rocking back and fourth like its got a v8 in it or something...
thanks guys!!!

i have a similar problem with my FC when i hit the brakes my lights dim.
and my volt gauge reads like 12.2
i'm thinking alternator or voltage reg. which i'm sure is built into the alternator.
when i test @ the terminals at idle i'm around 12.5

Weak alternator and/or battery. An auto parts store will test both for free, often with them still in your car. If it's a bad alternator be sure to save the warranty stuff on the replacement, since a lot of them tend to fail quickly. Or it might last a long time, who knows.
Check the voltage at the battery at idle. If it is less than 13v then your alternator isn't putting enough out and will fail eventually. Get a re manufactured higher output alternator, or check on here for some of the other alternators like the Taurus that you can use.
