Question Voltmeter gauge question!

Hey all!

Well, here's the question, as I was browsing through my instruction manual, I noticed that it said under the voltmeter section that "If the needle reads below 11 volts, or above 15 volts with the engine running, it indicates the charging system needs immediate repair". Well, upon further inspection, I noticed that during normal driving, the guage was reading slightly above the 14 volt mark consistently. While it has not *exceeded* 15 volts (according to the guage), I would like to know what the heck is up? What's causing this? What needs to be fixed, or what is this 'immediate repair' to the 'charging' system that must be performed?

On another question: What's normal oil pressure anyways?

Your charging system is fine.&nbsp Anything above 13.5VDC is a healthy charging system.&nbsp Anythng above 15VDC is signs of a out-of-control voltage regulator.

Oil pressure should be 15-30psi at idle, 50-70psi at 4kRPM.
