Voltage Problem Help! Electric Gurus.

2 Days ago, we had a bad weather fog and rain, so on my way to work turned on the fog lights, as I park and get out the car forgot to turn off the fog lights, so i got out at 9 of work battery was more than dead, anyway a friend from work helps me out to charge the battery, car starts, now i'm on my way home with everything on except fog lights and stereo, weather was still shitty so I had the wipers on, well as I 'm heading home on I35 checkng my voltage, I notice that it starts to drop very slowly from 12.5 and below, after 3 miles of driving I had to park the car a gas station, checking the voltage reads 10V car dies, some folk at the gas station pass me some charge, start the car no luck voltage reads below 12 even revving the **** out of it , I knew my alternator died, I had to buy a cheap battery just to get home, As I'm on my way home with the cheap battery, suddenly voltage raised from 12 to 13.5 then drop to 11 like a stone, after that all my idiots lighst and shift light turns on and voltage drop to 11. I have and FD alt. btw.

I bought an S5 alt from santiago, replace it and car starts right away, but the thing is that even if my car starts, the idiot lights and shift light are still on, but if I rev the car to 3 or 4 k , it sarts charging and works fine.

The first pic is from the plug of the FD alt. I unpluged it b/c I tought it could be a bad connection since the wires are toodamn short.

The second pic is the car at idle notice that the idiot lights and shift lights are onand voltage reads 12

The third pic i after reving to 3k all idiot lights turn off and voltage reads 13.5.

The fourth pic, I made the connection directly w/out the shitty plug i had, but theres no diference stills the same.

Whats yopur opinion on this??

Thanks
Enrquez
