vmount airflow??

how much air hits a vmount intercooler? it seems like a front mount would have way better flow over it. i dont see how much air would get to the vmount. maybe im missing something.

they dont work as well for the intercooler (generally) but they work better for the radiator and oil cooler ect. you can always just get a bigger intercooler to offset.

if your still an AC car a Vmount is almost mandatory.

if not then you can get away with a conventional style if you have a good radiator

Vmounts work better in the 3rd gen but...

YOur correct in thinking that there is less airflow per inch. but the velocity also decreases allowing all the little air molecules more "time on target" to get heated up by the cooler
