vmic/hmic hood vent and bumper questions

i want to start by mentioning that i've searched and read through vmic and hmic threads for the past 2 days and i just a have a few questions that i havent found concrete answers to. i'm strongly considering an hmount or vmount setup and obviously i've read of the benefits of a vented hood and vents cut in the bumper as well. my only thing is i really dont want to cut the bumper at all and i want to keep my t2 hood as well. i guess i'm just being stubborn, but will i really suffer with t2 hood and unmolested bumper with an h/v mount setup? i appreciate any help and answers to these questions

Yes you will suffer with out proper airflow. It would be much less efficient and dangerous, doing away with your topmount for a significantly less functional "look".

You don't need to cut your bumper to install an intercooler. In fact, cutting the bumper usually ends up making the airflow worse.

Regardless of the setup, the intercooler will not cool very well if air has trouble flowing through it.

i know i don't need to cut the bumper at all to install it, but i saw a few setups that had the front bumper cut for vents, not for fitment

The inlet area to heat exchanger core area ratio should be roughly 1:4, and ducting should be installed to force all of the inlet air into the heat exchanger. OK, now given that, how many of those setups were designed correctly?
