Hello,

I was working on my parts car today and I noticed the Vin plate that is in the engine bay on the passenger side is a gold color. So I go and look at my other rx7 and it is silver. What does the gold colored Vin plate mean?

that would be heat tinting. looks like that area has seen some fire before

looks like you may have had a pulsation damper leak and a small fire at one point. the plate in my 88 TII is much the same dues to a pd leak and a fire before i bought the car.

your engine bay could use a cleaning =D
