Alright guys, I was looking at buying another t2 fc, but there seems to be some weird stuff about the vin on this car. The vin number is missing from the under the window. However there is a vin stamped on both towers under the hood, Is this original? I didn't think these had a vin stamped here. are there any other vin locations besides under the window, door jam and firewall? This is an 87 t2.

 

it should have a vin stamped in the firewall, the vin on a tag on the firewall that is just screwed on, a sticker in the drivers door jamb, and a tag on the drivers side defroster vent
