Question Very odd idle issue

Here is what I am experiencing. Yesterday I went to drive to a friends house, got to the car started it, AWS kicked in and revved to around 3k but it quickly started to drop. As it started to drop down to the 1500rpm mark, the revs just fell off and the car died. I started it up again and the idle was fine, repeated the same process but this time stayed around 1500 for a few mins. Later in my drive I was in 4th gear and coming to a stop sign, I took it out of gear right as I started to slow down, again the revs dropped but didnt hold and it died again. And again I restarted the car and it idled fine. Any ideas? The car pulls good vacuum, between 15 and 20 when idling.

It could be you Air bypass solinoid valve... make sure that it is connected properly and the hoses from it are connected tight... I know that one day the hoses on mines kept slipping of making my car act like how you described... however, my car isnt turbo...

The BAC may be dirty or sticking or its connection may be weak.
