very excited...read why, and insurance?

ive been working my *** off all summer and been talking to a rotary mechanic in my area cause he sells rx7's and works on them and stuff. anways i found out today that he will be selling a red 1990 gtu for $2500-2700. right now i have like $2200 and next paycheck in 2 weeks will put me right around $2500, and im selling my bmx bike (actually worth quite a bit of money) and could make $500 if i sell everything on it.

the only problem is insurance. we are kinda in a money situation right now, so i am paying for the car and gas. and im trying to get my parents to pay for insurance. i know everyone always asks how much it will cost and everyone always says go talk to your insurance agent, but i really just need to know an average. im 17, no wrecks, no tickets. i think we have state farm insurance. i think we could also jsut put my dad or someone on the 7 and me on the accord or something to make it cheaper.

For insurance rates you will need to contact your local insurance agent. No one here will have the same zip code, driving records, age, etc. All things that the insurance agent will know for your area and needs. You will need to call him, nopt post here for that information.
