vert window regulator question

vert window regulator question
hey all
just wondering if any one knows if the vert window regulator differs from the coupe one. i picked up a vert and the regulator it self is fine, how ever the little cable that is all messed up. its all chewed up and frayed so it got stuck rolling it up and down

theres a picture i think its that little guy in the middle
any who ya if i can use a regular coupe im sure i can snag one at a junk yard.

they do differ, the vert is beefed up quite a bit and totally different units. You can rebuild them yourself using bicycle brake cable or even teflon coated cable. I've done it and won't lie, it's a PITA.
One of the problems with rebuilding the regulator is that there is a plastic wheel that gets chewed up. When you are putting it back together you have to keep the cable in the chewed up channels so it winds and unwinds without getting snagged again...all that while keeping the cables taut.
My first rebuild the cables got offtrack and knotted first couple times I used it because I left too much length on the cables.
