Vert wheel tire fitment......

Ok i've been searching for a while without much actual result so i'm going to ask.

Is anyone running 235/60-15 tires in the rear with the Vert wheels?

I've seen a few posts but noone really said much about using them. This would be for track use only not on the street. I haven't gone to my car with measuring tape to see if they would rub or not.

My car is lowered about 1" IIRC with tokico springs/shocks and I have no flares of any kind.

This would be for drag use radials btw, swap in/out at the track so no real chance of cornering or that many bumps.

I take it the MT ET Street Radials? They should fit that wheel, but it really is kind of small. The minimum you probably would want to run on it would be a 15x7 and probably more like a 15x8. Then again I have run a nitto 245x50x16 drag radial on a 16x6.5" rim.

I am using stock 2000 v6 mustang wheels (14#'s and 15x7) to run my 26x10x15 Hoosier Drag slicks. They are a good cheap wheel to use for drag racing.

I don't know about the rubbing but I really doubt it with all the room in the fenderwell with stock vert wheels.
