vert to turbo questions

so ive been researching this for a long time and constantly thinking about doing a jdm t2 swap to my vert or something in that category. would it be best to just buy a jdm t2 complete engine and hope for the best or can i just keep my s5 block and put turbo 2 LIM/UIM/ECU/IC/TURBO/MANIFOLD/DP/injectors and pump on my s5 and have everything work? i know the s5 rotors are higher comp but can work. i was gonna turbo my s5 while trying to keep alot on it but i just figured getting t2 uim/lim would make it cake

Short answer, no. Running the stock T2 ecu on what is internally an S5 NA will lead to detonation and broken apex seals and/or other major damage. You'd need to go standalone and tune carefully, or better, just rebuild the TII and drop it in (or swap it without a rebuild and take a chance on it not already being worn or broken).
