Vert Stereo, cupholder intall (pics

Nice having a cupholder, the subwoofer makes a big difference in the stereo. The amp is 110 watts (bridged) 50 bucks at Circuit City. I put 6 1/2" 3 ways in the doors, 4 inch 2 ways in the dash, 8 in Sub, and a Pioneer MP3 CD player. Popout cupholder from a Ford Taurus (I believe) Ebay 15 bucks. We in bidness now.

Yeah, I got a box there but have yet to wire up the amp & sub- and I love the cupholder- very sanitary install. Me likes.

The sub sounds great. Considering what I paid, I'm very satisfied. That 50 dollar Circuit city amp actually has a Mosfet power supply, and a tunable crossover. I turned it up on it's side when I mounted it for easy access to the *****. If you heard the stereo you'd never believe the entire system cost 350 bucks. I am thinking about putting a couple vents in the spare tire cover to let the sub breathe a little better, might get a little more sound too. Bass is mostly felt though. That model of cupholder is on ebay all the time. It will fit in an old stereo mounting bracket perfectly. I made a plate out of 16 guage steel and mounted 2 stereo drawout brackets in it, and made a black plastic face plate to make it pretty. The cup holder has some plastic **** that stick out on the back that have to be cut off to make it fit. It's kinda like putting 10 pounds of **** in a 5 pound bag.

How many times I've wished I had a cupholder....
Sub-box looks good. I know there is not a lot of room back there, especially if you leave the spare tire.
I wasn't able to with mine:

On mine I used an old Pyle 8 inch subwoofer box and cut off the back of it, so that it was 6 1/2" tall in the front and 5" tall in back. Then I sealed the bottom with a piece of plywood. I used the other half of the box to put a sub under the back seat of my truck. You can get those Pyle boxes pretty cheap on pricegrabber.com.
