Vert Spare Tire/Wheel

alright vert owners. I have been viewing some of your custom sub installs under the rear deck and couldnt help but notice that averyone had what appears to be a normal spare wheel. I recently opened up my storage for the first time to clean the area and my wheel didnt look like any of the ones ive seen here. It was actually a small rim and closer inspection found that it had ENKEI stamped into it. Anybody else have this spare???

the front wheel on the car in this pic is what my spare is.

Aluminum Enkei spare tire and wheel. They did it to save a few pounds in certain FCs. Consider yourself lucky, I have a heavy steel spare and jack. Do you have an aluminum jack too?

It was standard on all 'verts as well as many of the turbos and some of the heavier 86 and 87 models.

The spare will fit in the trunk like a coupe if you take the trim out, however if you use the location that the spare sits in for a sub woofer, you will not have any storage for a full size wheel/tire when you use your spare.

My base model had the four lug version of that when I bought it used, and when I swapped to five lug, I found a five lug enkei spare on Ebay for ten bucks.

I love capitalism.
