Vert questions... Where can I mount my stuff?

Hello everyone. So, I am still buying everything so I can begin the Vert=>13BRE project. I just got the Cry02 intercooler cooling system. I was wondering, where can I mount the 5lb bottle? Also, I have a 12" sub, where have you guys mounted your subs in your vert. I know the questions sound a little dumb, its just I'm working with limited space, lol. thanks.

p.s.-- I am also using the same type cage used on the fc3s.org vert.

i would mount the subwoofer in the garbage can, no need for hardware or brackets, just set it there it should be fine.

Yea, my main concern was mounting the bottle. I am also thinking of getting a 5lb bottle of nitrous also, but cannot think of a place that looks safe for me to mount them....

I did do a little searching for the subs and I see people either sacrifice their trunk space and put it there, or they give up their spare tire space, neither of which I want so I might just leave the sub out....

I put the sub in the space under the cosmetic cover, behind the driver's seat. It is the larger of the two spaces. I moved the headrest speaker amp to the area near the shock tower on the driver side, it will fit there with the stock plug length. The sub box which I built out of 3/4 mdf and matched the angles is about .5 cu ft., so you'll have to choose your sub wisely. I also fit two amps and a 1/2 farad cap under the cosmetic cover. And yes, the spare tire is still there.

Ah, a remote gain control is useful for the sub amp, as their are significant acoustic differences top up and top down.

I didnt even think about that variable. lol... Does anyone have any bottles mounted in there verts? I still dont know where to mount them... I've seen people mount them in place of the passengar seat or in the trunk... but both places seem a little risky in case of an accident...

What are the dimensions on the bottle? Perhaps it will fit under the cosmetic cover on the passenger side, under the spare tire. Pretty well protected there. Otherwise you'll probably have to give up trunk.

You car check the size of the space in the trunk underneath the carpet for the bottle (if small enough) or you can mount an amp there, which is what I did. I also removed the spare tire and it's mount (no need for a spare when you have AAA) to alow for more stereo space. The bottle could also possibly fit just under the far rear of the cover behind the seats, unless you have alreay tried fitting it there. Unfortunately, you're better off running a 10" sub because of the size restraints in the car. Also, remember that you should point the sub downor at least sideways so that sound can bounce off the inside of the car instead of being directed straightinto the sky out of the loweredtop.
