what was broken on yours?
Mine worked but the little plastic guide that the cables rode on broke, I can have someone make this piece since, as far as im aware, Mazda does not sell just that one piece, unless im mistaken?
I have seen a writeup for repairing them with bicycle cables when the cables go, but has anyone else had thier plastic guide on the bottom break?

I have a bad one on the passanger side. It lowers but you have to raise it by hand while the switch is depressed. And the drivers side is starting to get kinda slow. I did pic up another set from a guy parting out his vert. So I would suggest you check the for-sale section and search. Just a reminder the coupe setup is not the same as the vert. You will need a setup out of a vert

Before I replace one, I would take it apart clean it and lube it. Also, very important, take the switch out of the door, take it apart and clean it with contact cleaner. Use some emory cloth on the contacts. Sometimes that is all that is wrong with them.
There is also a guy in Houston that rebuilds them for about half the price of new.

I have had a spare regualtor that I just had to put in, when I took the original one out its a simple fix with the plastic guide, the piece of mine can actually get epoxied back on.
just wondering if everyone's broke at the guides, I do have a write up that shows how to fix the cables and I have someone who can make the guides very cheap.
