Vert Lowering Springs

I just put on 17's... car looks a bit high, want to get lowering springs and i was wondering if there was an alternative to racing beats springs which lowers the car by 1/2 inch.

TIA

In its 2-rotor days, I put a suspension kit on the RXX-7 that is sold by Rotary Performance (the one in Texas). It had Tokico adjustable shocks and Tokico progressive springs. The car dropped by about 1 3/4". The handling was superb, and the ride was nice. On the track, I could out-corner stock 3rd gens. (Of course, they ate my lunch on the straights.)

Here's my vert with 17's and the Eibach springs as a reference- essentially the same setup as hanman described, Illumina shocks & Eibach springs.
