Vert/Coupe Windows?

Hi All.

This is somthing that has been bugging me for quite some time, Can you Fit Coupe windows to a Vert? has anyone done it and made it work?

This is a subject that is quite old for me but it was brought up again recently.

I had a go using a coupe Window reg, window and weather strip. It seem'd to be the wrong shape for the hole and there was alot of movement in the window channels and its just did'nt seal to the roof.

I admit i did'nt have much time to make it work but is it possable? The thing that was most off putting is when i took the 1/4 window out there was a big gap in the seal so i didn't think it was possable without spending loads of time cutting seals.

Just thought i'd ask.

Yes that is a no, I tried buying the exterior door weather strip for my vert and was given a coupe strip by mistake. The coupe door is a few inches shorter and therefore the window would be also.
