Veilside On 2nd Gen?

In my area (on craigslist) there's many 1992 Rx-7's but very few 93s (which already are worked on) so the price is high. my question is can i put a a veilside fortune body kit on a 1992 2nd Gen.
i remember reading a few posts on this forum about ppl saying the veil-side fortune is ugly, well i like it and keep those comments to yourself thanks

wut?

Think about it. Really, deeply think about this. 3rd gens are shaped completely different, and are a totally different car than the 2nd gens. Why on earth do you think that would work?

Hate to be an *******, but come, on think a little before posting such a thoughtlessly ludicrous idea...

with enough tim e and money you can make any car look like any other car, and fit any motor you want in it. the real question is why would you want to?

10k for it, so darn expensive. Would rather just keep the fc as a dd and purchase a fd

I thought Mazda didn't make an Rx7 in 92.

Maybe the 92 model is the one jjcomb posted.

In ´92 you had both FC and FD, depending on where you live.

In 1992, over here, they sold the leftover 91's and called them 1992 (FC3S) whereas in Japan, 1992 was the first year FD3S became commercially available. Oh and I thought this pic was apt for the moment:

Note both that the trunk line is level with the Chevy Suburban parked behind it and the hacked up fender (maybe done with an actual hacksaw)...

i'll just say it, no it won't fit.

there's also no '92 RX7, if they were sold in '92 they were leftovers from '91 and they are in fact 1991 models and stamped as '91 also. the people selling them as '92 are just idiots is all, if you bought one of the showroom cars that sat around for 5 years it doesn't mean the car is 5 years newer or even marketed that way..

it's also a huge waste of money on an FC with a low blue book value to try and adapt it to work.

I'm thinking of a F-350 body kit. Lift. 24" truck wheels. Huge rear spoiler, I'm talking massive truck spoiler. Think Truckosaurus Rex, meets Mac.

Any thoughts?
