vdi question

my vdi doesnt actuate no matter what rpm im at. I had the same problem with my 6 port. With my 6 port I piped the actuators to the air pump and they actuate at about 3500 now. Can I just run a vacuum line from the same spot over to the vdi actuator or will that hurt something?

How do you know it's not operating? It's not activated unless the engine's under load, so revving it in neutral won't tell you anything.

If you connect it straight to the air pump it'll open far too early and result in a loss of mid-range performance.
