Aside from the sunroof, all the other equipment you mentioned was standard on all '88 GTU cars. See the specs in the '88 brochure here:

The sunroof was officially an option on the '88 GTU, but it's hard to find one without it.

My car is an '88 GTU, paid 6k for it. Had 42k original miles and was owned by a school teacher. Florida car.
