vacuum on street ported engine

vacuum on street ported engine

im reading 14-15in at idle. is this good? does it mean anything like my engine is strong and good compression or anything like that? thanks.

that might be a tad low. I think a ported engine will be lower. also your 3mm seals will probably lower it a bit to since they don't seal as well. if you are worryed get a compression test.

nah. i aint worried. havnt heard a ping yet. dont want to though. btw, what cars have you beaten with your car?

I don't race, I just go find some empty twisty road and "drive" it. I disabled the stock boost controler so i only run 5psi which slowly creeps to 8-9 in higer gears and rpm. so it's not that fast right now. I have to go work on dialing in my manual boost controller.
