Vacuum Nipple (Not covered in the emissions write-ups)

Where does this nipple go when you remove the vacuum spider? I know it helps atomize fuel from the secondary injectors and want to keep it. All of the write-ups skip mentioning this nipple. I read all of them a few times.

Please dont flame or complain, just need a little help.

thanks

I don't think that's a fitting for the air bleeds on the secondary fuel injectors?
It's just a regular vacuum fitting - I just use it for the FPR when I redo all the vacuum lines.

BTW, are you the guy who ordered something from me like a month ago?

thanks RETed

That nipple was going to the vacuum spider originally. What is it's original function?

BTW RETed I think I emailed you about a TB FMIC elbow but the guy I bought the Greddy kit from sent one after all.

It's just a plain vac/boost source. It's perfect for your FPR needs.

That was the original source of the FPR vacuum. It ran to the small tubing rack to the FPR solenoid. From the solenoid it then ran back thru the small tubing to the FPR itself.

The fuel injector air bleed is b/t the two OIL INJECTORS. A single nipple that sticks straight up. IT should go to a NON VACUUM source which would be one nipples on the back of the throttle body. You know, where you have either four or three nipple one above the other. NEVER attach it to the very bottom nipple because that is a VACUUM source. Verboten!
