It sounds like a frankenstein car, and I'll bet you're not going to be looking at anything close to the stock vacuum routing / wiring. Here are links to 2nd & 3rd gen FSMs.

post a pic of the motor and we can help identify it...regardless it sounds like you got kinda screwed. there were no NA FD's, they were all twin turbo.

You don't have a camera or a friend with a camera? You'll have a hard time finding someone that'll drive out to look at your car, when they could just as easily identify what's in the engine bay from pictures.

Like 87 t-66 said, the one blurry picture shows a S4 water pump housing and a S5 NA UIM, so S4 NA w/ S5 manifolds is the guess. Get more pics.

Pica
As many as 25% to 30% of kids have the eating disorder pica, which is characterized by persistent and compulsive cravings to eat nonfood items.

See a doctor. Now.

logie what is your phone number ? i can take a look at your 7 to see whats up with it. since im not to far from your area. and you did post in the hampton roads section where i normally post and did see your posts. let me know man . my rx7 is a base model and i basicly turned it into a full turbo 2 swap from 5 lug to bigger brakes and bigger turbo and a megasquirt efi management system (full standalone) . i thought you had someone elses car that was red s4 by the way you was describing it. but lucky you didnt get that one cause the red one i am talking about is a true lemon lol. but yeah PM your cell number and i can see what i can help you with bro .

for those of you keeping up with this thread.

its a 87 rx7 ,s5 taillights ,turbo2 wing, 5lug in the rear and the original 4 lung in the front....
the block is s4 and the upper mid and lower are all s5,with a s4 TB. the vac lines are all ran wrong. and firth and sixth ports are missing there silinoids with there vac lines as well.
s4 MAF, 87 emitions harness ,87 ecu from what i can see.
no emitions. air pump removed. some random block off plates.

anyone have any good photos of there vac lines on the 5th and 6th ports ? so i can cross referance. oh vac lines of a s4 block. im looking at the FSM while im typing this thread
thanks.

Series five aux port actuators use air pressure from the air pump.

he is noticing some kind of hesitation around 4k rpm and requires him to floor the gas to get past that hesitation.... any thoughts?

im thinking of swaping out the s5 crap out and make the intake back to s4 with all the stock emitions back on it.

welcome to the world of rotary lol..

seriously though , your hot headed at the car right now so just leave it be, chances are after all the repeated starts you could have flooded it. all you can do after a flooding is just let it sit overnight and try to start it again in the morning,
or just wait till i come by your place so i can doctor it back to running order.

we still havent had a chance do anything as far as corrections to the car since you havent gotten payed yeat. so just relax. bud will get her running again. one way or another.

4k RPM hesitation.. check your grounding. (ECU and the two engine grounds, one on the intake manifold and one on the back of the engine near the starter.)

Doesn't like to start when it rains..Replace the spark plug wires.

VAC Diagrams are in the FSM.

Good luck.

hmmm my guess is besides all the motor work, you should check into the motor itself. overheating is way bad for rotaries.
