Well i jumped my fuel pump and found my fuel leak....so im sending off the injectors to the company in cali that everyone likes/recommends... im also gonna go with the banjo bolt instead of the FPD.....but my real question is this....
Since I have to remove some stuff to get to the injectors and the FPD, im gonna go ahead and replace a few other things such as:
1- All vaccum hoses and use new Fuel lines (and Fuel Filter)
2- Replace the gaskets cause I hear they break often while removing them
3- Re-tape the wires going everywhere (the previous owner apparently chopped them all up and redirected them and made them look like ****)
4- Paul says I should consider looking into some block-off plates...how much do these cost where can i get them..a machine shop i assume??

While on the subject of the vaccum hoses, how much (in FEET) should I get for a FULL vaccum job, what brand, where to get it for pretty cheap..etc. I know of hose techniques, but im not really wanting to spend $100 on just the hoses (I am on a tight budget)....

What else would be a good idea to replace while im in there..the car will be down for atleast 2 weeks, im sure so that should give me ample time to get a few other things fixed in the engine bay...
Any help and ideas would be greatly appreciated....I am on a budget though (no more than $300 total including sending off the injectors)

I think you're gonna need about 15ft of vacuum line to get all of it. Just to be safe go with 18ft. I used about 13-15 on my S4 NA. You can pick up plain rubber vacuum line at your local auto store.

 

First off, ONLY get the HoseTechniques silicone vacuum hose - trust me on this one! This is one of those things where you want to do it right the first time.

20 feet of 3.5mm
10 feet of 6mm

That will cover almost everything under the hood.

You can buy it by the foot from hosetechniques.com - much cheaper than buying their kit.

yeah, the heat from the engine and stuffers is gonna make the rubber ones get all hard and crack... go with the silicone
