KY Vaccum cleaner hoses for cold air intake system!!

I'm going to "fabricate" my own "cold air" intake system by taking out the ftp lenses and then bolting some vaccum cleaner or dryer hoses from the ftp lense place to the stock air intake and then putting in a K&N filter in the stock air box.
I don't expect to get any real gains or have any postive effects on my dying fc; I'm just bored and want to something to do.
Any ideas on how to make this actually work ?

The FTP lenses empty directly in front of the headlights. I doubt there is room to duct any real hosing back there without creating a massive restriction.

you know the factory air box already has a cold air scoop that pulls from the front of the car by the hood latch?

Don't listen to the doubters... hook that Hoover vacuum up to your car and let it suck.

lol, okay okay.
And I do know where the stock air scoop is but after much investigation I have no idea how it recieves all that much air.
O'well... I'll just throw the K&N filter in and save up the 1.5k for a new engine instead of wasting fifty cents on the vaccum cleaner hoses.
haha.
Thanks for the hate though =D

I wouldn't waste my time if I were you. But I must give you credit for not falling into the typical un-boxed cone filter hot-air intake trap.

yeah, I read enough about this topic to know it isn't really that helpful to use "THE CONE"
