I bet you won't be able to get a hold of anyone there though. The owner, Grant hasn't been answering his calls or returning calls for quite some time now

sandmstreet3-

You are crazy bro..... wanting 3x the torque at low rpms and double to triple the HP with complete reliability.

http://www.thewrongmotor.com

and also check out the forum on V8RX7.com for good info.

Of note.... Ford engines will not fit under the stock hood and all EFI Chevy engines and carb'd engines with low rise intake will be stealthy and fit under the hood.

Cheapest conversion is 5.0/T-5 (iron block/heads/5spd) and most expensive will be LS1/T56 (all aluminum engine/6spd). LT1/T56 would be a great choice also.

Of note... whatever conversion you do ..... you need Overdrive due to the Mazda having 3:90 or 4:10 gearing out back. If you don't..... you will be limited to a weak top speed and your engine will be overrevving at speeds above 50mph and get terrible fuel economy.

22mpg+ on the highway/375hp+/11.60's@114mph and driving it 300miles/wk is what doing the conversion is all about. Plus the ultimate sleeper.

Register on the V8RX7 forum and ask away about the conversion as there are a lot of people that can help.
