V8 conversion in 88 vert pics NO FLAMES PLEASE

I see nothing wrong with that.
The TRUE heart and sould of the enthusiast RX-7 was lost on the convertible anyways.
I think the v-8 makes a MUCH better match to the vert than a rotary.
I love the way the vert looks, and hey, it's a convertible!!!! But it's too heavy for the free-revving, tourque-needy rotary.

I LOVE rotaries, and ALL RX-7's, but I would take the V-8 vert over a rotary one anyday...
Now... a totally different stpry about a GTUs... If someone put a V-8 in one of those I would personally make them jump up their own ***!!!
(A TII vert like in Japan, now that's another story, but I'd still take the V-8!)

LOL i love the duct tape by the radiator.....

although i don't like V8 swaps.... you did a pretty good job :1party:

He said he was problems with keeping it cool, and was trying something temporarily to see if it would work before fabbing a front piece from ABS
