ordered the flat cap and pressure cap from mazdatrix, shoudl be here monday. ill let u know how it goes..problems should be fixed tho

Do you have an aftermarket thermostat in it? I had the same problem with too much coolant going into my overflow. put a mazda thermostat in it problem went away. just a thought

after all this nonsense , it turned out it was a clutch fan ( i found that out not long after the end of the posts on here)
