Urgent! Technical Info

Ok, i decided to remove my cats completely, i had already gutted them, but now im customizing a straight pipe thorugh, but theres a steel line that leads to my air pump with another rubber hose that leads somewhere else, is it ok to disconnect this, also what does the littlehose lead to? (6 ports) if it is the auxillary ports can i put a line directly from my air pump that little hose and make it work?

that line goes to the main cat giving it a little air when you deccelerate...i don't have an n/a so i can't say for sure what it will affect, but yes you can remove it completely...

Okay, one of the little lines from the air pump, it's about 1 inch diameter, or just under. There is a litte line, that connects to a nipple of the stock air pipe. If you remove the air pump, which you will be able to do. The little line, which is connected to the nipple of the stock air pump pipe....Connect that to a nipple on your new straight pipe. And it shall be all good. Hope that helps

Evan

Of course, without the backpressure created by the cats your 5th and 6th ports won't open. For info on how to open them with an open exahaust, search.
