urgent question

I recently bought a 88rx7 and when i shift into second in high rpm like 4-5 rpms it seems like when i shift into the second gear it seems like it grinds but its not making a really loud noise and i shift smoothly into that gear but is a weird sensation when i shift it into it but i do shift until it all the way down so should i just put it in that gear and not pull it down all the way let me know i dont want to replace tranny anytime soon.

It sounds like the second gear sychronizer is starting to go - a common problem with FC trannsmissions. Some fresh fluid may alleviate the problem. The popular fluid on these boards is Redline MT90. It's helped a lot of people's problems.

yeah, try redline.. if that doesn’t work, you’re screwed buddy

hate to be so blunt, but it's happend to me twice so far. i'm in the procces of swaping in a TII tranny. should work WAY better... i'm sick of dealing with these whimpy n/a trannies...

do you have a TII?
