Urgent help needed on speak re-wire.

So I am re-wireing my fron t speakers. I need to know how to do it. I tried to do it using the factory service manual but it's pretty shitty since a) it does NOT have a diagram for the connector that goes into the front amp. and b) The colors it listed for the rear speakers were totally wrong....but I got those.

My system is a 4 speaker system that had the factory tape deck with EQ. The service manual does not have any sort of wiring diagram for it which I find weird since it's for an 88 and my car is an 88.

Please help.

Note: I am doing this at my apartment and have to do all of this at the amps since they do not allow me to take pieces of the car apart.

Do you have an aftermarket head unit?? If so, i would just say screw the factory amps... rip em out... and just run new (better) wire to all your speakers. Thats what I intend to do when I get an MP3/CD player.

yea, I'm bypassing the amps. I just need to know how. It's against apartment policy to rip out pieces of my dash for a full re-wire so I'm just by passing them. But the service manual does not have any wiring diagrams for the amps, which means I have no idea what wires to use to by pass them.

I already have the front amp out. i just need to wire up the front speakers. So what are the wire colors I need to use?

Just run wires straight to your speakers and label them at the head unit so u can remember later where they go. I think we are talking about the same thing, aren't we?

yes we are. However I am trying to do this using the factory wiring. I just need to know the colors of the wires for the front speakers. Mine are different from the ones in the service manual. I really don't wanna remove my head unit, it was a bitch to install, I'll probably end up breaking more of the cheap *** plastic interior.

So I was finally able to find the correct colors. For all interested I made a diagram showing how to re-wire the front speakers from the AMP. This does no involve running new wires from the head unit, just connect wires at the AMPs wiring harness. Very simple once you know the colors, so that's why I made the diagram for you all.

Note: the wires you connect together complete the circuit for the front/left speaker that was once made by the AMP.
