Urgent! : Closing stuck sunroof?
My sunroof has been stuck in the tilted up position since I pried it open last weekend (stupid, I know). Manually cranking it closed doesn't work, only one side seems to be catching.
I bought another sunroof mechanism but cleaning and re-greasing it is not going as well as I planned. I don't know if I will have it ready and installed in time.
Car goes into paintshop this friday.
I need to close it. I don't care how.
Help

If you want a good result to your painting pull the interior apart and take the SR panel off that way they can paint it separately, they can mask off the hole in the roof easily enough.
Dont jump on it.
Then replace the whole sunroof mechanicals assembly after you get it back from the paint shop.
Im wondering if this is a joke too.
