it's what and how you're upgrading. If you can go with a much larger wastegate on the S4 then go with it since it'll save you money. Boost creep is an issue with that turbo's wastegate. also port and polish the exhaust manifold and get rid of the twin scroll bullshit. maybe throw some ceramic coating on the bad boy. You get a S5 then you'll have to eventually rebuild that too. Even more money. Unless you get lucky and get a good deal somehow.

Upgrade what? the whole car? the Turbo? the wheels... what?
could you be a little more pacific?
If you mean the whole car, i would do a S4 T2... cuz i just dont trust the Electric OMP... cuz when it fails, it FAILS immediately, like a fuse blowing. when the S4, at least you can catch it before disaster strikes.
Plus, its got a mechanical LSD in the rear. not the slow-acting Viscous like the S5.
I know the S4 isnt as pretty, but, youll get over it.
