upgrade intake

i have been doing a swap on my car for some time now ( s5 t2 in s4) and im almost done i just dont know what to do with the intake, i dont have the stock box but i do have the air flow sensor, can i attach that to the turbo with a filter on the end or will i have to hook up the air pump to it? i dont know how the air pump works and what to do with the intake situation, does anyone have any sugestions?

Just get an aluminum pipe (45* bend or so) to go between the turbo and the AFM, get a cone filter adapter for the AFM (actually S5s don't even need the adapter, the filter just clamps on the end of the AFM) and throw a cone filter on it. As for the air pump, if you don't have to worry about emissions just toss it. If you do have emissions, it needs to be connected to the cat (if you have one) through the ACV. Do a search for "ACV" and you should be able to find what you need. But if you don't have emissions, toss the cats, air pump, ACV and rat's nest.

Or go to home depot and build one using their plastic bends and couplers for like $10.
