updated pic of my FC

Here is a few pics of my car after I got it back from detail shop ( cuase it had been parked out side for almost 9 months while I was over seas.)

this is after the install of the gound control coil overs and camber plates and I droped the car down.

in the rear I have my drift tires on as they are POS khumo that are like plastic. normaly I run A032R all around.

Cant wait to get the body kit on and get it painted.

updated pics

This is how my car looked before the coil overs and the Drop I got asked if my car was AWD

Looks really nice - though IMHO I think the stickers detract from the overall appearance...

Cheers,

Ok...once and for all...

Do you need spacers to run 3rd gen wheels on an FC? If so, what size?

Thanks

And very nice car too...When I get the money, I think Ill be emulating that setup that you have...Probably shoot for a little less horsepower though

Yo,

It looks great, don't put a body kit on it!! Unless it's the FC2000 kit. *grin* You're obviously going for the JDM style with the white rims on red, no wing, and stickers on the side. Don't mess with it, it's workin'!

by running a good healthy sized T04 you can actually make upto 400HP at the flywheel at a mere 10psi.

its all about the CFM it flows, PSI is best thought of as the internal stress pressure being put on things

Question Hey GTR Got some ?'s

Car looks nice, alot like mine.
I got an 87GTR (well about to put it all in an 86 base due to lightweight conversion).
My questions are more about the power yo uare pushing at the boost levels you run.
I have the Greddy Undivided Manifold and a T04/S04 turbo with P-trim turbine wheel and a .96 tang undivided turbine housing on it. I also will be running a healthy FMIC and HKS AIC (haltech by summer) all on an (EEEKK!!) STOCK MOTOR! Are you running the stock motor, cause I had heard that you were?? Also from my studies and experience a smaller turbo (like your 60-1) will run more power at a lower boost like 12psi than my T04/S04 at the same pressure because it isn't even in its efficiency range yet. I hope to run about 15-17 max psi on the stock motor (I am crazy and push it hard at the track) but will tend to keep it at 10-12 psi for street use. What do you think my setup will be capable of RWHP and 1/4 mile wise. I will strip the car if it comes to that, but no sunroof, roll-up windows, and aluminum N/A hood on the 15" tires oughta gear me for an 11 second pass as it is if I am not mistaken. Similar setups with this turbo and even ported motors have only gotten 366-375 rwhp at 15 psi boost, but what are you thoughts on it?
Thanks,
Patrick

Soul Assassin: the car right now has takio 5 ways and ground control coil overs and casters/camber plates.
cusco strut bar, lower bar and rear bar.

its much more of a road racer. and I take it to the drag track now and then. I dont recommend drag racing with spacers but I wanted to see how the car would do.

Megaspeed7:
yes right now I have a stock 91 block. ( but waiting for it to get weak to pull it and port it.) Right now my car has 4 720 injectors and the haltech says im running 98% duty when I get to 1bar 14.7 psi. I have run higher boost when running race gas and NGK 11 plugs.
but that was the chance I was going to take with the idea if it blew I would just pull it and port it.

im going to be changing to 2 720 and 2 1600 injectors.
and T66 and heathly street port ( or like Soul Assassin's car half brigde)

sounds like your car is going to be in the 2600 pound range have run it accross a scale?

if your running slicks with your setup you should be droping into the 11's

spending time on the dyno with car and the tuning haltech again and again twek here twek there is how we got 372HP

Isnt it dangerous to run at 98% duty cycle? Whats the most that you should safely run?
