Update to my hesitation at light throttle

After 6 months of waiting I finally got the call that my 87T2 was fixed and ready to be picked up, the reason why I put it in a rotary shop was cause under 3k rpm under light throttle it would hesitate and buck but mid to wot under 3k would run great and after 3k at any throttle position it would run fine.

My tps wouldnt go past 2k ohms and I couldnt figure it out myself this really had me stumped.

It turned out that my wire harness was bad, there was a break in one of the injector wires that would only make a temp connection. The car also had a incorrect ballast for the type of injectors it has so that also needed to be replaced.

The car drives great now, I just wish the window motors worked... need to replace them.

One thing I noticed was that my exhaust would pop a lot almost like it wanted to backfire whenever I decel'd, so I got out my DMM and timing light.

I connect the timing light to L1 set the gun to 5º pull the trigger and wow this ***** way off, so I turned the gun up past 60º almost spot on to the yellow mark... really not cool at all so I turned the cas and pushed it all the way over as far as it could go and got it down to about 8º advance.

Then I connect my DMM to the TPS... 1744ohms, adjusted it down to 1014 but it still wont go past 2kohms without blanking out. So I did the TPS voltage check, I had to turn the screw in about 2 turns for only one side to receive 12V. I checked the resistance again, 1320ohms... Much better then 1744ohms and not to far off from 1000ohms.

Went for a test drive, feels a little bit more responsive, smoother, def idles great now.

The mods on this car are, a hybrid turbo, fmic, full intake, bov, all emissions removed, 3" exhaust that has a hole in it at the flange to the turbo that I need to seal up, 720cc secondary injectors, S5 block with S5 altenator everything else on it is S4 including the MOP.

Boost stays at 5psi till 4-5k then goes to 7.5psi till 7500rpm.

I would like to throw a safc2 on it or a Rtek tune it and get the boost to 10psi, this car is pretty quick it really surprised me its much faster then what my 10ae was with bolt ons.

My idiot lights dont work, wish I could figure it out but I have a S5 alt so dunno how to go about getting the idiot lights working again.
