Under driven pulley set....

Hey guys, I am thinking of purchasing this pulley set

I've seen those ribbed belt pulley setups, and they're really nice - much better contact than the V-belts. But, it's kinda pricey for what you get, and that alternator pulley is *really* underdrive - you'll really be turning the alternator slow.

This setup is probably better for a full-on race car - on a street car with stereo, headlights going, wipers, heater, etc. you're gonna have voltage problems.

Not to mention I don't think you're gonna get $300 of "bang" out of it.

I like the multigroove pulleys. Too bad I need AC, PS and airpump.

Get the $75 dollar one from rx7.com.
Or, spend like $175 for the UR one.

But, if you are having ANY cooling or charging issues, do not get any.
