Type Of Tension Bolts

I never seen these types of tension bolts. Does anyone seen these types of bolts? Are they better? Why they were made this way?

The ribbed ones are Series 5, they are ribbed like that for some vibration issue.

Are they better than or is about the same? I am using them on a Turbo motor. Are they ok to use?

They are better then S4 ones and are perfectly safe to use. As long as all 19 are ribbed.
