Twin Scroll question

So I just finished porting the WG on a spare turbo that I have (that I will be putting in) and after I removed the intake, I realized that something wasn't quit right on my twin scroll actuator. I have a spare manifold, should I just remove the whole twin scroll sytem?

Probably because yours wasn't working when you remove it. The difference when removing a working system is noticable.

stevensimon, a replacement actuator would be cheap. Buy one off someone who removed theirs and doesn't miss it...

Do you think I should notice a big performance improvement from hooking it back up or removing it?

Fix it. Just replace the banjo bolt that is missing.

Without it, on a basically stock car, you will notice a significant decrease in turbo response down low.

Juuuuuust in case you fell for some of the bullshit in one or two posts above..............If there is no vacuum going to the actuator (unlikely in your case with the banjo bolt missing) then the twin scroll actuator is to the FULL OPEN position, much like it would be when and if the system was fully operational and the rpm were over 2800 rpm. IN other words you would do nothing to the actuator to make it open if it was not getting vacuum.

Buy a banjo bolt and or make one out of a common bolt and install it.
