Turn signal switch??? Please check for me.

Hey guys, I know this is a stupid question, when you hit your turn sign switch to make a left/right turn. Does the switch arm stay in that position until you move it back or make the turn? I'm in the process of putting my dash back and my switch arm doesn't stay in one position or the other when I move it up and down. It's been so long since I had my car, I forgot how it goes.

Another question, do any of you know if the wiring plug for the turn sign and high beam is different for a car with airbag versus one without? I have a 91 vert w/ airbag and are putting in a wiring harness from a 88 TII. Thanks in advance!

Jack

Cool

Yeah, the switch stays in the same place. You just push it one way or another to get the signals to come on and it comes right back to the center position. Screw me up the first couple times I used em. I don't know about the signal wiring as I haven't ever taken it apart before.

88 T2 to 91 Vert retrofit

How's it coming? I know the electric plugs are different. But, are you finding you can simply press out the pins from one plug to the other?

Well, it's been almost 9 months and finally everything is in and running. Put the rollbar in today and still have some dash and stereo wiring to go. Yes you can press the pins out of the plug. Right now I'm trying to match the 88 wires to the wires from the 91 plugs off of my switch. It's a freaking pain in the *** crossing series for a TII conversion. Luckily, someone is doing all the work for me. Here's a pic of what my car looked like a month ago.
