turn cancel and angle sensor

87 here, there was some improper steering wheel installation and the cancel cam washer's tabs are chewed. I can get it lined up and it will last a few days then slip I guess and begin to beep.

So here is the series, unplug it, disconnect the entire everything, mysteriously find a way to remove the washer from the assembly and replace just that one part, replace the whole thing, or find a way to plastic weld since a screw won't fit there.

An old timer told me to use contact cement, but says the steering wheel might be stuck on for good.
THanks
