TurboXS Type H-34 BOV

Hey guys I just got my used Turboxs bov(well a bypass valve). I'm getting ready to install it and I know that this one is meant to be routed back into the intake but can I just open air vent it? Do I need to install a check valve like the stock BOV needs to be open air vented?

Here's the specs on it

I lost horse power with this blow off valve.

I suggest you mount it as far away from the turbo, and after the intercooler.

As for stalling I dont really think it will be a problem as long as you install all the washers.

Why would I need all the washers?
Should I install it right before the throttlebody?

i never had any problems with this bov. i installed it to the stock location with a curved piece of radiator hose from autozone, and a water heater hose from home depot. it doesn't need a checkvalve, but you need to plug the hole that will be left in the tid. i have some pics on my computer at home that i can post for you if you'd like

the washers are for the stiffness of the spring. if its too loose, you can get a vac leak. but you also don't want too many in there, or it won't function completely right

I"ve got it installed and it's working great. How many washers did you use?

saabguy, i never had any problems with mine. maybe you just had bad luck or something. or maybe you were running too much boost.
